rief synopsis:
- The person will write, review, and approve packaging test protocols, reports (familiarity with ASTM D4169 is required), and specification.
- They may engage in failure investigations and mitigation efforts to improve packaging design.
- The person should have sufficient knowledge of packaging and engineering expertise to write technical rationales justifying deviations or excursions when implementing packaging design changes.
- They should also be able to write technical justifications to approve some packaging design changes without tests.
- Knowledge of labels, primary packaging, secondary packaging (carton and corrugated), and shippers is needed. Familiarity with cold chain shipping tests (ISTA 7E/7D) is a plus.
Formation et expérience requises :
- BS in packaging engineering degree or relevant engineering degree.
- 4-8 years preferred.
Top 5 des compétences/exigences :
- Technical protocol, report, specification, justification writing.
- Packaging test (ASTM/ ISTA).
- ArtiosCAD/ CAPE Software experience – Plus.
- Primary, Secondary (carton/paperboard/corrugated), and shipper design experience.
- Cold Chain Insulated shipper qualification (ISTA 7E/7D) experience - Plus.
- Medical Device industry experience – Plus.
