Title: Senior QA Lead

Location: Hybrid Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months contract to hire

Day-to-Day:

• The will be working with an Onsite and offshore team doing daily standups and handing over to the bid team.
• They will be answering questions for the UA testing team and be a part of the deployment call which is about 1 -2 times a month. 
• In their past role they must be a lead QA working with load testing.
• They will be testing JMeter on a daily basis

Must:

• Must be a lead QA in past roles
• Deployment call is usually monthly call
• Must have 10 years of experience
• They don’t have to be a QA Lead
• Lead title/responsibility must have exp? - No
• Automation must have – any tool, preferably a must have done web-based application testing
• Are you using JMeter right now? – Yes but candidates can have exp with any load/stress testing tool
• Nicely written, articulated resume, must be able to explain well during IV – good comm

Plusses:

• They need to be able to talk about how complex their project was at past roles
• If they can’t articulate their projects – then they are not a good fit
• Good communication skills are very important.

Job Description:

• 10+ years of experience in QA Testing, Analysis, and Team Management
• Excellent working knowledge of the QA function, experience design methodologies and principles
• Strong experience of working in Agile & Enterprise Agile frameworks
• Proficient in at least One Programming Language – Java/Python/C#/etc..
• Strong experience in setting up mature automation frameworks to fulfill specific requirements
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Selenium, REST-Assured, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle
• Strong experience in Web service (REST), SOAP UI
• Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries
• Hands-on knowledge on CICD with Jenkins/Azure DevOps/Bitbucket/etc..
• Experience in build tools Jenkins/Maven/Gradle
• Experience and conceptual understanding of Continuous Testing & In-Sprint automation methodologies
• Strong understanding of Performance testing & monitoring principles and logging tools like Splunk or others
• Experience with JMeter or any other performance testing tools
• Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
• Deep knowledge of system capabilities, functionality, and development life cycle
