Sr. Software Engineer needed ASAP 

Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid

Salary Range: 120k-140k/yr (10% performance bonus structure)

Day to day:

Collabera is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer for one of our biggest aviation technology companies here in Chicago, IL. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be a crucial working member of multi-disciplinary, highly skilled technical teams that design, develop, test, debug, and document software, by providing high quality technical solutions through Core Java development and designing and deploying Microservices. 

Interview process: 

• 1-hour IV with hiring manager. POTENTIALLY ONE AND DONE
• 1-hour panel interview with the team and director if need be.

Must haves:

• 5+ years of software development using Core Java.
• Experience designing and deploying Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins to align with DevOps deployments.
• Strong experience using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and AWS platforms. 
• Some UI development experience with React, Redux, CSS, HTML.

Plusses:

• Automation experience using Selenium.
• Test management tools such as Zephyr or JIRA.
• Experience in containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
