Position Title: Sr. Production Support

Skills : Java, Oracle, Unix and Autosys

Communications:

• Effortless technical conversations via the phone and in person.
• Candidate needs to ask required questions regarding the project.
• Also candidate would need to be able to understand the concept of the questions and points communicated so ideas can be bounce back and forth to work as a team professionally.

UNIX:

• Know how to search log files on UNIX servers where log files are spread out all over the UNIX servers.
• Candidates will be performing log searches using UNIX commands since we have so many logs files spread across many different app servers. To identify the logs needed for research and analysis related to the production issues arose.
• If they have this skills, that would mean they have done investigation of java apps on UNIX systems that went wrong.
  
  ORACLE:
• We need candidates who can perform queries of the database using sqls to find info and answers to help solve the problems.
• Most production issues would end up causing problems to the data in the database so we perform a lot of queries to find out what the impact and where.
• Most of the time to resolve production issues, we have to write plsql scripts to fix the data problems which are work around to fix issues. So we need hands on experience in sqls and plsql developers.
• JAVA:
  Since we are a troubleshooting group, the candidates must be highly analytical.
• The candidates sort thru information gathered from analysis to get to the root cause.
• We provide the root cause analysis to development and business teams so they can fix the problems. Hands on experience of the java language and development of major j2ee apps with flavors of web services, queuing, hibernate, spring, etc is what we are looking for.
