Title:                  Software Dev Engineer II 
Location:           100% Remote
Duration:           9 - 11 Months (potential conversion to FTE or contract might get extended)
PR:                     $48 - $53 /hr
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable distributed services with high level of operational excellence. 
  • You will design and code, troubleshoot and support. 
  • You will follow the best practices to help build a distribution, logistics and business analytics solution.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ year of non-internship professional software development experience and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design and data structures.
  • Full stack dev experience 2 -3 years
  • Cloud services experience 1-2 years
  • Front end React.js or angular.js or vue.js
  • Backend development experiecne Rest API
  • Java preferable, python is accpetable
  • Design experience upto a year atleast
  • Good to have - SQL and No-SQL knowledge

Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle for a software product.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with product, technical and support teams.
  • Exposure to proper SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployment.
  • Experience developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers.
  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
