MAJOR INVESTMENT BANK IS LOOKING FOR JAVA DEVELOPER FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION IN CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

Position : Java Developer

Location : Charlotte, NC/NJ/NYC/Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Duration : 12 -18 Months (Contract to Hire)

Looking for a candidate eligible to convert**

Responsibilities :

MUST HAVES

5+ years of experience in Java (Full Stack/backend)
Be able to demonstrate proficiency with Java/Scala, SQL, Linux, and a reasonable subset of the following:
- HTML5/React, Low latency, High Performance REST API/Micro services.
Working across multiple systems using multiple programming languages and technologies
Have a proven ability to solve problems with technology

PLUSSES

Experience in any of the following:
- Foreign Exchange Markets, Electronic Payments & Settlements, additional languages such as Python

DAY TO DAY

• Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytics applications to load and process data into the TFX data lake
• They will be responsible for maintaining lower environments and support other analytics developers on the team including working with DevOps and vendor teams
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including story writing and estimation, design, development, test planning, test automation, and deployment
