Roles & Responsibilities:

Support the manufacturing of plastic disposable IVD consumables
Use various types of manufacturing equipment such as heat stakers, liquid dispensers, ultrasonic welders, and labeling machines
Maintain manufacturing equipment along with providing input for supporting documentation such as SOPs and work instructions
Perform various testing both on the manufacturing line and also in the lab to confirm quality parts are being fabricated
Provide input to the engineering team on areas of improvement in both assembly processes and design
Maintain detailed notes and documentation of build process and maintain inventory of components
May write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols
Perform troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and also consumables
Possess good communication skills, capable of communicating ideas to colleagues
Use problem-solving skills combined with analytical skills and good attention to detail

Required Skills:

High school diploma or GED. B.S. in Engineering or a closely related field is preferred
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

Desired Skills:

Hands-on manufacturing experience especially within the IVD diagnostic industry a plus
Hands-on experience with maintenance of manufacturing equipment a plus
