Job Title : Quality Assurance Analyst
Location : Chicago (Hybrid)
Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems.
Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new development and enhancements.
Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine application quality.
Communicate test progress, test results, and quality of application changes.
Analyze test results to discover and report on defects.
Work with business community to plan and execute UAT.
Assist in environment setup and management in preparation for test execution.
Familiarity in testing APIs/services (REST and SOAP) using SoapUI, Postman or equivalent tools
Experience in cross browser, cross platform web and mobile testing and their dev tools that come with them
Proficient in leveraging Splunk or similar tools to view system logs and troubleshoot potential defects
Experience with communication tools like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS Teams
Comfortable with test planning and tracking tools such as Confluence, Jira, Zephyr
Nice To Have:
Familiarity in Java, XML, JS, CSS and HTML
Familiarity with SauceLabs or equivalent tools
Direct hands-on experience with Java and/or Groovy, test automation frameworks, Selenium/Appium, with ad hoc query programs, and reporting software
Familiarity in version control systems like Git and Subversion
Sound knowledge of Jenkins for Continuous Integration.
