Job Title:  Network Test Engineer

Duration: 3 Months  

Location: Remote      

Duties:     

  • Test application (ex, Facebook, Gmail, zoom,) using browsers and/or mobile devices.
  • Capture the traffic on the firewall.
  • Analyze the captured traffic using Wireshark and look for unique patterns to identify this traffic. Write signatures using the patterns found.
  • Conduct unit testing on the signatures to make sure the application can be identified on the firewall.

Skills:     

  • Layer 7 protocols such as http analysis
  • Wireshark
  • Network security.

Education:  

  • College degree in computer science related fields
