About the Role: 

• Transmission Pipeline Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Pipeline Engineering and Design team. 

• The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing the corporation's natural gas system assets, specifically transmission pipelines and valve sites. 

• This role involves analysis, design, consulting, troubleshooting, and preparation of mechanical system maintenance procedures. 

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with project team members/stakeholders 

• Communicate with leadership 

• Manage multiple projects and initiatives 

• Identify and recommend corrective actions for technical issues 

• Visit project sites for reviews, safety observations, and quality checks 

Education Qualification: 

• 2+ years of experience as an engineer 

Required Skills: 

• Experience with MS Word, Excel, Projects, and PowerPoint 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 

• Knowledge of pipeline design, construction, and operation 

• Familiarity with planning and permitting processes 

• Ability to review designs for compliance with standards 

• Experience in procurement of materials and services 

Additional Skills: 

• Scheduling and budgeting 

• Maintenance and permitting knowledge 

• Proficiency in Excel and MS PowerPoint 

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background
