Position Details:
Role: ORAN Tester
Location: Onsite- Dallas, Texas
Duration: 12-month renewals for a 4-year project
Compensation: $37-$44/hour
Interview: One Round
Day to Day:
- The tester will execute various test cases, collect logs, document, participate in troubleshooting activities with the equipment suppliers and ensure that the defined methodologies are followed in the testing process.
- You will be supporting lab testing of a highly visible program for Open RAN testing and evaluation.
- The candidate will continuously work with various Mobile Network Operators and ORAN suppliers to evaluate their products.
Must Haves:
- ORAN experience
- Open Radio Access Network is like a new standard that allows to mix and match parts from different companies
- UE (User Equipment) Emulator testing
- Experience in executing O-RAN conformance tests and debug issues to find failure root cause
- Packet capture tools
- Identify risks and problem solve
- Analyze logs
- Work closely with lab point of contacts, technical leaders and program/project managers for timely reporting of test results and observations.
- Track/document lifecycle of equipment software versions, patches, bug fixes
- Demonstrate, if required, ORAN test cases to leadership teams from the public and private sector.
