Job Requirements:

• Architects, designs, and supports the development and testing of firmware solutions for several highly-complex technical projects.
• Creates software specifications for projects and leads the technology roadmap process.
• Recommends project approaches and goals to align with organizational objectives.
• Champions innovative thinking and creativity within the team, fostering talent development and retention.
• Coaches team members on effectively developing, communicating, and implementing new solutions.
• Prioritizes quality and actively seeks opportunities for improvements in all aspects of firmware projects.
• Maintains an acute awareness of competitor products and development trends to design superior solutions.
• Utilizes expertise to develop novel and creative solutions, enhancing business value and attracting positive attention to technologies and services.
• Collaborates with other engineering disciplines to create next-generation ideas and solutions that meet client needs ahead of the competition.
• Analyzes competitor intellectual property and contributes to activities related to protecting organizational intellectual property.
• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
• May supervise and guide the activities of other team members.
• Creates formal networks involving coordination among various groups within the organization.
• Serves as the organization’s spokesperson for specialized projects or programs.
• Acts as a prime consultant for large-scale projects that impact the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in an appropriate engineering 
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
