About the Role: 

We are seeking a dedicated individual to drive completion of all safety corrective actions on time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing audits, creating follow-up work orders, and supporting all leadership responsibilities related to safety protocols. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform audits and create follow-up work orders for safety corrective actions 
  • Support and complete all leadership responsibilities including LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE, Confined Space, JSA’s, and overhead safety 
  • Fill out pre-task plans for complex jobs and take two cards for non-routine jobs 
  • Know shelter and rally points, and be prepared to account for team members 
  • Complete Time and Attendance activities daily 
  • Offer overtime according to contract language and update tracking sheet 
  • Review down equipment list and take action to close items within influence 
  • Respond to calls for assistance on the floor 
  • Manage team's scheduled work and escalate any execution problems 
  • Assign work to meet scheduled jobs and reactive maintenance needs 
  • Fill out start-up sheets daily and update as necessary 
  • Support organization of assigned shop and material list 
  • Maximize equipment availability by responding to downtime events, identifying improvements, and engaging engineering or vendors 
  • Add actions to countermeasures tracking and input corrective maintenance work orders when necessary 
  • Engage reliability engineer to drive preventive corrective actions 
  • Strive to meet BPD goals, update metrics, and countermeasures weekly 
  • Perform LOTO audits, sign off on team members' safety sheets, complete Leadership Standard Work, and attend team meetings 

  

Education Qualification: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Additional technical certifications or training in safety protocols preferred 

  

Required Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively 
  • Knowledge of maintenance work order systems and tracking tools
