About the Role:

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliation, and collection of outstanding payments for complex accounts. The incumbent will serve as the point of contact for internal and external customers regarding billing and collection issues.

Responsibilities:

Research and respond to complex patient inquiries regarding billing issues
Review billing forms for accuracy before sending to payors
Assist in preparing monthly billing and accounts receivable reports
Handle complex billing issues, including contacting insurance carriers for patient eligibility and referral information
Ensure accurate and timely entry of insurance, demographic, and eligibility information into the system
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines, state and federal regulations, and company policies

Education Qualification:

Required Skills:

3 years of experience in a Billing, membership enrollment, member services, claims operations, or Finance role
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on department goals
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
Effective communication skills and ability to handle challenging customers
Must disclose any events that make them ineligible to work on Federal health care programs
