Position Details:

Title: NSF Collector/Collections Specialist/ Billing Coordinator/ Debt Collector

Duration: 3+ months with extension possible

Location: Dartmouth, NS (3x /Week onsite in office)

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $20-22/hour

Interview process: 1 round

Day to Day:

  • Identify customers with outstanding debts.
  • Contact and track debtors, encouraging timely repayment.
  • Handle customer questions, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Create and implement debt collection courses of action.
  • Negotiate specific payment plan arrangements with debtors.
  • Investigate discrepancies to resolve outstanding customer accounts

Must Haves:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • 1-2 year of experience with the below
  • Credit/Collections management
  • Strong customer service (client facing)
  • Administrative tasks
  • Call center environment
  • Account Receivable

Pluses: Previous accounts receivable experience and banking experience
