• Job Title: Sr IT Business Analyst

• Duration:  1YR (Potential Conversion/Extension)

• Location:  US REMOTE

• Pay Range: $60/hr - $80/hr

Responsibilities:

• Work with IT stakeholders and involves gathering user requirements, collaborating with developers for ongoing support, and acting as a liaison between the business and IT.
• Work with IT stakeholders and customers to translate business needs into Appian requirements
• Develop and maintain requirements documentation (process diagrams, use cases, user stories, RTMs, etc.).
• Leverage Appian features to create future state process diagrams and determine new use cases.
• At a high level, understand how Appian can integrate with other third-party technologies.
• Modify, document, and review business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications needed for project documents. Execute change control on approved documents.
• Work with the Scrum team (developers, Product Owner, tester) and stakeholders to ensure the application build meets business requirements.
• Lead clarification and validation of requirements during the development and delivery of the solution.
• Efficiently manages time on tasks.

• Experience translating business needs into requirements for developers
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Ability to write user stories
• Ability to create client-ready documentation/deliverables
• Experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating requirements meetings
• Proficient in MS Office

• 10+ years of Business Analyst/Project Management experience on technical, application development projects
• Need to understand the SDLC and technical jargon around development
• Agile exp. 
• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent written and verbal comm skills
• Ability to work independently and provide their own direction

• Experience working on an Appian implementation project
