Title: NSF Collector/ Collections Specialist
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Dartmouth (preferred) or Toronto, 3x /Week onsite in office
Compensation: $20-$27/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Interview process: 1 round with HM
Day to Day:
- Identify customers with outstanding debts.
- Contact and track debtors, encouraging timely repayment.
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and inquiries.
- Create and implement debt collection courses of action.
- Negotiate specific payment plan arrangements with debtors.
- Investigate discrepancies to resolve outstanding customer accounts
Must Haves:
- Fully bilingual
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- 1-2 year of experience with the below:
- Credit/Collections management
- Strong customer service (client facing)
- Administrative tasks
- Call center environment
- Account Receivable
Pluses:
- Previous banking experience (big 5 banks)
- Previous accounts receivable experience
