Location: Mclean, VA
Duration: 06 months Contract
Pay Range: $65 - 70/HR
Overview:
- Looking for a strong back-end Python developer, who must be able to write code and test on their own
- Not necessarily looking for a full-stack developer
- Need to be able to do unit testing with PyTest
Description:
- Supporting multiple projects/applications related to data and data processing
- It is purely a development role, doing back-end development in Python
- Rest API based; no internet/cloud applications
- Will be responsible for doing production support
Must-Have:
- 7+ years of Python development experience
- Panda, Flask library, PyTest
- Basic SQL knowledge (performance tuning is not needed)
Nice to Have:
- Angular, React, Node.JS are a plus but not necessary
- CICD development is a plus; if they don’t have this knowledge they will train this on the job
