Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and HBase.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
  • Expertise in Apache Kafka for building data pipelines and real-time processing.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools, such as Apache Hive or Impala.
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.

Plusses:

  • Experience with other big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, or Storm.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Pay Rate: $60/hr- $65/hr
