Purpose:

• Seeking an engineering professional to lead sustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing utility efficiencies and minimizing the carbon footprint of site operations, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage long-term utility plans to significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions and pursue net zero targets.
• Execute and oversee major engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards.
• Conduct early risk assessments and implement fallback strategies to mitigate potential design changes.
• Utilize project management tools to maintain budget adherence and achieve project objectives.
• Lead the development of project charters and establish objectives based on stakeholder needs.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, balancing immediate project goals with long-term customer interests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; post-graduate education is a plus.
• Proven track record in sustainability initiatives, particularly in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
