Title: Business Analyst W / Life Insurance . Annuities Exp
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range : $60-$65/hr

Job Summary:

• Someone that is more focused on the business side of things. However, working closely with Business System Analyst, external vendors.
• Possibly came from a business operations background (call center, customer service, etc.)
• Keep in mind, these candidates will be working for a startup. This means that the ideal candidate has worked for a startup before and understands what it's like. 
• These candidates needs to be able to wear a lot of hats, work on multiple projects at a time, be okay with not a lot of structure, be flexible, be able to go with the flow.
• These candidates will have to be comfortable with change and being uncomfortable- confident to ask questions and pull in the right players to drive projects.
• These candidates will be focused on working with external vendors. They will be working with third party development teams.
• These candidates will be interfacing and collaborating with the external vendors for business requirements, story writing, etc.
• These candidates will not be managing any type of budget.
• Insurance/annuity experience would be GREAT (examples of annuities: 401k/Roth IRA).
• Client's products in the near term will include retirement income products.
• Client's platforms are all Saas based.
• Business Systems Analyst: this candidate could be someone that was a developer in their past life and is now a business analyst.
• They do not currently have a set business analysis process or set guidelines. These candidates will be apart of creating that process and guidelines.

• These candidates must have experience working in the isurance industry. Preferably within annuities and life insurnace rather than property insurance, casualty insurance, retirement, etc.
• Experience with FAST (Flexible Architecture, Simplified Technology): a platform from Verisk Analytics that helps insurers with digital transformation. It's designed to help insurers with the entire life cycle of life insurance, from product development to claims.
• Experience with Hexure: designed to streamline and automate the sales process from life insurance and annuities. This system sends the pay loads that are then uploaded into FAST.
• Experience with Surancebay: where insurance agents get onboarded and go through training/certifications
• Experience with Azure
• Knowledge of APIs
• Experience with Postgres and SQL databases
• This candidate must be a problem solver, self starter, and critical thinker
• This candidate must be able to adapt easily
