Job Title: GIS Analyst
Duration: 12 months contract up to 2yrs
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Hybrid: 3 day Onsite and 2 day Remote
Pay Rate: $30/hr - $35/hr
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day business needs for visualization maps and report creations.
- Responsible for reviewing data quality and performing minor data edits.
- Facilitate the acquisition and importation of external data sources into the GIS datasets.
- Participate in the testing of changes, enhancements, and upgrades to the Transmission GIS.
- Perform data extractions from the GIS data sets on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- (2) years of experience in GIS methodologies using ArcGIS software
- Experience in using ArcGIS Desktop version 10.7 or higher, and/or ArcGIS Pro 2.0 or higher is preferred
- Basic understanding of GIS concepts, image interpretation, and conveying GIS/spatial information to non-GIS/technical people
