Title: Automation & Controls Specialist
Location:  Pasadena, TX 
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 day onsite 
Duration: Contract with potential to convert
Pay rate: $55/hr to $70/hr
 
Job Description 
Day-to-day: 
  • Participate in the design and testing of PLC's
  • Implement PLC Logic and related automation network 
  • Provide SCADA system hardware, software, RTU/TCP Modbus, and ethernet network support for Maintenace, controllers, operators, and other business groups.
  •  
Must haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or related field)
  • 5 or more years of experience with ControlLogix
  • 2 or more years of direct work with Modbus, TCP/IP, VFD, and flow computers.
  • Basic understanding of PID loops
  • 3-5 years of PLC programming 
Plusses:
  • SCADA system experience
  • HMI system experience
  • AVEVA experience
