They deliver exciting features that enable customers to do things like take their house off the electrical grid, charge a vehicle with solar energy, or even power entire communities using renewable energy. The Site Manager app and its libraries all run on an embedded Linux machine. An ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of multi-threaded programming concepts, an understanding of Linux systems, and a familiarity with object-oriented design and principles.

Must Haves:

  • 1+ years’ experience with Rust – writing clean code, development
  • Background in C, C++ or comparable languages 
  • Should come from a Linux environment
  • Experience with software development for IoT platforms (Internet of Things)
  • Experience writing unit tests and practicing test-driven development
