An Excellent Opportunity for “Risk Specialist ” to work with one of the Largest Global Bank in Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $50/hr – $60/hr

Job Description:

DAY TO DAY

• Accountable for the completion of risk governance required deliverables (RISE) and vulnerabilities (Continuous Monitoring).
• Ensure System of Record (SOR) data is accurate and complete.
• The Application Control Specialist must certify the accuracy of application records for applications in the following lifecycle stages: In Development, In Production, Projected Retire, Retired, Retain Application & Data, or Retain Data.
• Collaborate with application production support and Third-Party Management partners for sourced and third-party managed applications to provide technical direction and ensure alignment with bank objectives and SLAs.
• Participate in third-party development of internally hosted applications, ensuring adherence to bank policies and control requirements.
• Develop Enhanced Remediation Programs (ERPs) and drive their execution with effective plans and realistic, yet aggressive timelines to mitigate bank risk. This includes proactively managing infrastructure and upcoming exceptions.
• Provide guidance and lead discussions with support teams and clients to facilitate informed decision-making. Supervise application assigned GBS proxies and/or contractor delegates to ensure their work complies with bank standards and policies.
• Operate in a matrixed environment across development, production support, infrastructure, risk, and business lines to identify and remediate risk and compliance issues.

MUST HAVES

• 10+ years of industry experience 
• Background in Project Management, Release Management, Change management 
• Data analysis and reporting skills 
• Background in software development 
• Understanding of risk and compliance standards 
• Agile/Jira practices
