Job Title: Terraform Cloud Engineer

Location: Plano, TX
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Client Industry: Banking 
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract 
Schedule:  Monday to Friday 

 Must Haves:

• 10+ years of experience with writing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Knowledge of web protocols, operating systems, hypervisors, and distributed systems architecture
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms and services
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins
• Agile development practices and test-driven development
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, Salt
• Experience with identity management frameworks and tools
• Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration
• Familiarity with Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Cloud provider certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Architect).
• Experience with architecting software solutions

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across technology teams to create solutions that align with our cloud strategy.
• Engage in product design activities and implement new software solutions as part of our cloud enablement strategy.
• Maintain and enhance existing software, ensuring code meets strict standards for accessibility, security, and performance.
• Write and conduct unit and integration tests.
• Communicate effectively within a software development team, including developers, quality assurance, and project management members.
• Actively participate in requirements gathering, architecture reviews, and design meetings.
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code and work with public cloud infrastructure.
• Apply deep knowledge of web protocols, operating systems, hypervisors, and distributed systems architecture.
• Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms and services, and apply frameworks like Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
• Implement cloud security measures and work with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins.
• Use configuration management and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, and Salt.

Compensation 

Hourly Rate: 70$-73$ per hour 
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
