Job Description:

• We do a lot of user support, production support of our batch jobs and overnight jobs.
• Someone who can write some SQL abstracts, we're constantly asked for updates from data warehouse, so someone has to go in and modify those, some Bash, one app sits on Linux, the other is half Linux/half Windows. End user support when someone gets logged out, we have to help them, sometimes share the screen and show them how to do it.
• It's admin engineer, it's above a BA, but not quite a developer. Need someone super high energy who can jump around between different things, who can write and edit SQL scripts, who knows Windows and Linux to the point that they can write scripts in Windows or PowerShell.
• Would prefer stronger production support versus automation engineers.

Top 3:

• SQL, PowerShell / Linux shell scripting, Linux & Windows server administration, Active Directory - they wouldn't need to be super senior, even 3-5 years of experience, they just need the basics, SQL, PowerShell, Scripting, Bash commands. It's good if they've been in the industry and understand how it works, high energy and are ready to hit the ground running.
• Complete SDLC Administration. management and execution, CICD using GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible
• Daily Production& user support, off hour implementations and on-call rotation, Agile/Jira/Confluence
• Banking is preferred, not required

Team Size: 

• 6 people on the team, half support one app, the other half support both apps.

Hours:

• Usual hours, except for any of their changes they have to be done after hours or on weekends, but we try to keep it once a month. Otherwise it's 8:00-5:00 Monday-Friday
