Job Title: Change Management Lead
Duration: 12-month contract (potential extension/conversion)
Location: Lansing, MI preferred (Remote possible)
Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr
Day to Day:
-
Strategy & Planning: Build and execute end-to-end change management plans following the internal client's playbook (ADKAR-aligned).
- Operating Model Transformation: Lead the "people-side" of a major shift in how the company supports customers and rolls out new P&C products.
- Stakeholder Mapping: Conduct impact assessments to identify how changes affect external customers, agents, and injured workers.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with PMs, Business Owners, and IT Leadership to ensure project ROI and adoption.
- Content & Comms: Partner with Internal Comms and the "Learning & Growth" team to develop messaging, scripting for call centers, and awareness videos/emails.
- Implementation Oversight: Act as an Individual Contributor who "matrix manages" teams through the implementation, ensuring tasks are completed and issues are escalated.
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of Change Management Leadership: Experience managing large-scale, disruptive organizational changes (not just system updates).
- Insurance Industry Experience: Strong preference for Property & Casualty (P&C) background to understand product rollout nuances.
- Implementation Focus: Ability to drive adoption and measure ROI post-implementation, rather than just focusing on theory.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead and direct cross-functional teammates in a matrixed environment.
- Prosci/ADKAR certification/experience.
Nice to Have:
- PMP Certification: Amy noted that a combination of PMP and Change Management experience is "fantastic" as the roles go hand-in-hand.
- Marketing Exposure: Experience creating end-user documentation or job aids.
- Product Diversification: Experience with national rollouts of new service models or products.
