Position Details:
Title: (IT) Product Manager
Duration: 1.5 Years + (Possible Extension)
Location: (Hybrid, 2 days/week) Charlotte, NC
Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team and develop and manage product roadmaps, design product vision and strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders for product launch.
Required Skills:
- Has experience in working for agile Product teams
- Experience in tech modernization (from a legacy mainframe system to a cloud based modern tech system)
- Experiencing in interacting with business stakeholders and end users, to understand business needs and user pain points
- Experience in writing epics and features for an IT product, sprint backlog grooming, story writing, and experience with tools such as Jira
- Experience in delivering software products and working on a technology scrum team as a product manager / product owner
- Good understanding of technology
- Good communication skills, creating PowerPoint presentations, creating process flows
- Ability to work autonomously
Responsibilities:
- Define product and identify gaps and customer needs by creating vision, strategy and required documentation
- Develop and manage product roadmap
- Engage in product planning process by developing user stories and use cases
- Review product demos and validate acceptance criteria
- Track development work and identify bugs
- Develop launch and go-to-market plans for product
Please provide 1-2 sentences about the project that will be worked on:
- The scope of the initiative is to modernize a legacy corporate finance system and address several business problems that exist in the current legacy systems
- This system is used to track the progress of Vendor funds from allowance programs and calculate corporate financial data feeding into the cost of inventory, and feeding into the corporate payables process to recover funds from the vendors
- The product manager will be responsible for delivering multiple features for this product, in partnership with a lead product manager with client.
