Job Title: Vendor Management Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL 60601 (HYBRID - Once a Week)
Duration: 6 months (Possible Extn.)
Pay Range: $45-50/hr
Description:
- Vendor Management Analyst for Managed Services Excellence will proactively engage drive strategy in line with corporate objectives and manage a portfolio of Client's suppliers to extract maximum value for the organization from existing contracts and relationships.
- This includes negotiation and regular interaction with management from strategic and preferred suppliers, as well as the business owners.
- Vendor Management Analyst will collaborate with Managed Services Excellence Team to manage key Vendors in alignment with agreed financial outcomes, as well as business vision and strategy, and will be assigned to managing specific vendors and/or contracts at a global level, partnering with the business owners.
- Vendor Management Analyst will ensure that the vendors are delivering against their contractual obligations and that Client is receiving value for money.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience with IT vendor relationship management and oversight is a plus.
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills.
- Knowledgeable of IT project management, tracking, reporting, and risk/issue mitigation.
- Strong analytics, written, and verbal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office product suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Tableau experience is a plus.
- Relationship management skills: ability to build relationships with suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of IT products and services
- Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Coordinate initiatives driven from the EIT Leadership team in support of the EIT organization. This can include any activity not directly own by an existing EIT department. (IE: support of audits, RFI/RFP/RFP Response support)
