Job Description:
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proficiency with CRISPR nuclease screening.
- Experience with NGS library preparation and INDEL calling using sequencing platforms.
- Support process improvements for increased speed and efficiency to generate highly productive, high-quality, robust cell lines that meet all regulatory requirements with high-quality documentation.
- Willing to learn hands-on laboratory operations such as molecular biology, shake flask, bench scale bioreactor and novel culture platforms.
- Contribute to written technical reports and regulatory filing support, present in group meetings, and work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- B.S/M.S. and 2 – 5 years, Ph.D. and 0-2 years of experience in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering).
- Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills and aptitude for creative problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Experience in statistics and data analysis (e.g. JMP, Spotfire).
- Experience designing, constructing, and evaluating vectors to recombinant proteins of various formats.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and adhere to timelines.
- Ability to think critically and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
