Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team, focusing on fraud prevention and authentication solutions. This role involves working with Java 17 and Spring 6 to develop microservices within a Kubernetes/OpenShift cloud environment while ensuring secure and high-performance application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Java 17/Spring 6 microservices in a Kubernetes/OpenShift environment.
• Implement and optimize database interactions using MongoDB or Oracle.
• Troubleshoot cloud-based application issues, ensuring stability and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
• Monitor and enhance application performance, implementing improvements for efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Strong expertise in Java 17 & Spring 6
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment
• Proficiency in working with MongoDB or Oracle databases

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing security best practices in cloud applications
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and authentication/authorization mechanisms
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation
• Experience contributing to technical strategy and architectural design
• Strong stakeholder management & risk management skills
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus
