About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT professional to lead the creation, support, and maintenance of centrally developed applications. This role involves redesigning and rewriting legacy applications, ensuring continuity of manufacturing and business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with production workers and upper-level management to deliver quality IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of information technology applications.
- Re-write programs developed using obsolete programming languages.
- Collaborate with manufacturing shop floor workers and management to produce effective IT solutions.
- Report risks and advise on possible solutions using available business resources.
- Maintain current applications, handle break/fixes, and implement enhancements.
- Develop applications, dashboards, and reports as needed.
