Oracle PL/SQL Developer - Addison, TX (Hybrid)

Rate Range - $66-$67/hr
DayToDay Responsbilities:

• Design & Implement Data Warehouse Solutions: Develop and deploy efficient, scalable data warehouse designs.
• Optimize Oracle Performance: Tune queries, tables, and indexes using execution plans and AWR reports.
• Develop & Maintain ETL Processes: Build robust, scalable ETL frameworks with error handling.
• Model Data & Manage Databases: Create data models and manage database partitions, indexes, CDC, and virtualization.
• Write & Optimize PL/SQL: Develop and refine complex Oracle PL/SQL code.

Must Have:

• Data Warehousing Expertise: 12+ years of hands-on experience designing effective data solutions in large-scale data warehousing environments.
• Advanced Oracle PL/SQL & DBA: 10+ years of experience with advanced Oracle PL/SQL and DBA responsibilities, including performance tuning.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze Oracle execution/query plans and AWR reports to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query, table, and index optimization.
• Data Modeling: Proficient in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouse requirements.
• ETL Framework Development: Proven experience building high-performance, scalable ETL data frameworks with robust error handling.
• Database Management: Strong working knowledge of database partitions, indexes, change data capture (CDC), data purging, and data virtualization.

NiceToHave:

• Data Visualization: Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred, Power BI, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Experience or exposure to Python, Hadoop, and Generative AI/Machine Learning (Gen AI/ML).
• Industry Experience: Financial Services or Banking industry experience is a plus.
