Lead Mule/Java Developer - Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Rate Range: $64-$66/hr 

DayToDay Responsbilities: 

• Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. 

• Serve as a proficient technical resource, potentially leading projects and directing team activities related to special initiatives or operations. 

• Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate the delivery of software applications. 

• Maintain accountability for technical knowledge and capabilities, working under minimal supervision with guidance from more experienced consultants.  

Must Have: 

• Extensive experience in Java/J2EE, Web Services, SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle). 

• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, and their usage within API and Microservice implementations at scale. 

• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, WebLogic Application server, JBoss, or Mule. 

• Experience in Integration Technologies such as Mule ESB & IDE or equivalent, with previous Middleware experience. 

• Proficiency in monitoring, triaging, and performance tuning. 

• Experience with administration of Mule, WL, JBoss, or WebSphere. - Knowledge of APM tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics. 

• Understanding of Test-Driven Development and Unit Testing (Cucumber/Litmus, JUnit). 

• Ability to contribute to automation, causal analysis, and the development of shared/common solutions. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, team leadership, problem-solving, innovative thinking, and mentoring. 
• Experience operating in a highly Agile continuous integration and continuous deployment environment.
