Title: Computer Vision Test Engineer 

Type (Contract): 6 months 

Pay rate: $70/hr 

Location: Westborough, MA (domestic travel included) 

Why: Increase in workflow 

Mission: Support development and deployment of computer vision solutions by executing hands-on testing, logging, debugging, and light scripting at test and deployment sites.  

Day To Day:

• Conduct hands-on testing in labs and on-site environments. 
• Travel domestically (primarily to Seattle and Virginia) for deployment testing. 
• Log issues, pull diagnostics, and report back to dev teams. 
• Assist with basic debugging and scripting (Python/C++). 
• Collaborate with engineering team to support prototype, alpha, beta, and deployment phases. 
• Work with stereo pair cameras and depth sensing technologies. 

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in computer vision roles. 
• Background in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (mechanical may be acceptable with additional experience). 
• Hands-on computer vision testing experience. 
• Experience with stereo camera systems and depth sensing. 
• Comfort with scripting (Python essential, C++ a plus). 
• Ability to travel domestically to project sites. 
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field. 

Plusses:

• Experience with camera calibration and CV lab testing. 
• Experience supporting deployment of real-time CV systems. 
• Industry experience with hardware/software integration. 
• Exposure to robotics or aerospace (SpaceX background mentioned as similar context).
