Position Details: 

Job Title: Business Analyst 

Location: Etobicoke, ON (Hybrid - 3 day onsite) 

Duration: 12 months (Contract to Hire) 

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours 

Shift/Core Hours: 37.5 

Start Date: ASAP 

Job description:  

Responsibilities: 

• Requirement gathering 

• Building project charters 

• Business cases 

• Process mapping 

• A lot of reporting - ad hoc, why is this the way it is, why are behaviors happening over here? 

• Taking data into information to transform into knowledge 

• Deploy that talent into any sort of environment 

• Data could be spoken word, financials, raw data etc. 

• Financials - be unafraid of financials (pricing projects) 

• Indicator - worked on sales side, ops side (FTE performance), customer facing 

Must Haves: 

• 3–4 years past Business Analyst (BA) experience. 

• Strong Experience in Excel (pivot tables, building own formulas for calculations, costing processes) 

• PowerPoint - able to manipulate data and translate data into information 

• Word 

• Banking/FI Experience/background 

• Assertive 

• Empathetic - asking the right questions to peel out what the teams are asking for 

Plusses: 

• Previous PM experience - but maybe they practiced extensively in school or maybe have done that in the past but prefer being a BA
