Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain key process indicators (KPI’s) and key operating parameters (KOPs); set targets for short interval controls (SICs)
- Troubleshoot and optimize the process to address gaps identified through performance monitoring
- Optimize the current process using operational entitlement models
- Implement advanced performance tracking tools
- Execute annual productivity plans – wildly important goals (WIGS)
- Accounting and categorization of daily production losses
- Lead or participate in root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
- Challenge and manage job scope for outages and turnarounds – specialist
- Participate in PHAs
- Support safety as a Hazard Recognition Plus Coach
Skills:
- BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 - 10 years of experience desired
- Chemical plant experience required
