Job Description:

• Lead and architect the design, deployment, and management of a dedicated OpenShift container platform, ensuring resiliency, redundancy, and high availability for critical applications.

• Build, configure, and operate containerized applications on RedHat OpenShift, including migration of legacy applications and implementation of microservices and APIs.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Artifactory, and Digital.ai Release (XLR).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide technical guidance on OpenShift best practices and container orchestration.

• Automate software deployment, configuration, and access control processes following DevSecOps and continuous delivery best practices.

• Mentor and support DevOps engineers while contributing to monitoring strategies and responding to production support escalations.

Must Haves:

• Expertise with Kubernetes/OpenShift container platforms and YAML playbooks.

• Proficiency in automation and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Artifactory, and XLR.

• Strong Linux skills and familiarity with web hosting technologies like Apache, IIS, WebSphere, or WebLogic.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.

• Proven ability to architect for scalability, resiliency, and high availability in containerized environments.

• Hands-on experience migrating legacy applications to container platforms and modernizing applications into microservices and APIs.

Plusses:

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization infrastructure, especially WebSSO systems.

• Experience working with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingDirectory.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and Agile methodologies.
