Pay Range: $22/hr. - $24/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed.
• Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
• Assisting in the training and onboarding of new team members.
• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds; and participating in group lifts for 36+ pounds.
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Working in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments.
• Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

Must-Haves

• Proven experience with server hardware components, including installation, troubleshooting, and replacement of CPUs, RAM, motherboards, storage devices, and power supplies.
• Demonstrated experience with network hardware, specifically in identifying, troubleshooting, and replacing network interface cards (NICs), patch panels, fiber optic cables, and various Ethernet cabling types (e.g., Cat5e, Cat6).
• Solid understanding of network connectivity concepts, including IP addressing, subnets, and basic network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, ipconfig/ifconfig).
• Experience with break-fix procedures for IT equipment and cabling infrastructure.
• Consistent and reliable work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• Ability to differentiate between various hardware components and distinguish between server and desktop computer systems.

Plusses

• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
