Title: Java Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 12 months (possible extensions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications with a strong focus on multithreading and concurrency.
• Build and manage real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka and distributed data processing jobs using Apache Spark.
• Develop robust solutions by integrating Python scripts and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline implementation and monitoring.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance tuning for large-scale applications.

Must Have:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development (multithreading expertise preferred).
• Strong experience with Apache Spark and Apache Kafka in production environments.
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and working knowledge of relational databases.
• Familiar with SDLC processes and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, monitoring).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $65/hr - $68/hr
