Location: Chicago, IL/ Addison, TX/ Charlotte, NC/ Denver, CO (Onsite/Hybrid)
Pay Range: $62 – $65 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and support complex software delivery automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines with a focus on secrets management, secure deployments, and automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, XLR (Digital.ai Release), Datical, and Radical.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in HashiCorp Vault for secure secrets storage and access.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to integrate DevOps practices into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure automation workflows follow security-first principles, particularly in handling secrets and credentials.
- Create scalable, reusable automation templates and scripts to streamline deployment and monitoring tasks.
- Provide mentorship and guidance on DevOps tools and processes to cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
- Strong background in CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
- Proficiency with tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, XLR, Datical, or Radical.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Experience with secure automation practices in a regulated or enterprise environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in Cybersecurity or secure software development practices.
- Experience with machine learning or genAI pipeline implementations is a plus.
