Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract (12–18 months, potential to convert)
Pay Range: $60–$62 per hour 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic and enterprise-level technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale Cisco network infrastructures, with strong expertise in SD-Access and enterprise routing/switching. This role requires both hands-on engineering and strategic planning, including roadmap development and architecture standardization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure solutions including routing, switching, and wireless technologies.

• Lead the development and execution of multi-year network roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.

• Establish and maintain configuration templates, code/product certifications, and operational best practices.

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for a large network environment (75,000+ devices).

• Ensure network performance, availability, and security by proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployment readiness and compliance efforts.

Must haves:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.

• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.

• Proven experience with Cisco SD-Access architecture, design, deployment, and support.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to act as a top-tier escalation point.
