Title: Data Governance Analyst
Duration:12-month contract
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $58- $65
Day-to-day:
- Collaborate with the data governance lead and data stewards to develop, implement, and maintain data governance standards, practices, and processes
- Assist in identifying and escalating business risks that could impair the success of the program and negatively impact business goals
- Advise and assist in metadata management in our data catalog, Atlan, to capture data documentation such as workflows, data dictionaries, glossaries, lineage, and other metadata
- Work with stakeholders to develop a network of data stewards and data owners and assist to develop and execute data governance training
- Develop, maintain, and support a data governance-centric SharePoint workspace
Must Have:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance and data management
- End-to-end data governance experience, including data glossary and metadata work, and working with business users on adoption
- Demonstrated expertise in data governance, data management, data quality, and data stewardship programs
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Office Suite
Pluses:
- Hands-on experience working with data governance tools such as Atlan
- Experience with data lakes and relational databases
