Job Description:  

Client: Banking  

Position: DevOps Engineer 

Duration:  12 months    

Location: Dallas, TX 

Payrange: $60-65/hr 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own infrastructure support and DevOps operations for AWS-hosted enterprise platforms  

• Maintain and upgrade EKS clusters, S3, EFS, MSK, VPCs, WAFs, Route53, and related AWS services  

• Drive automation through standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform modules  

• Lead incident management, RCA documentation, and production issue resolution  

• Collaborate with AWS support, incident managers, and client SMEs in real time  

• Mentor and review the work of other DevOps engineers globally  

• Ensure on-call readiness and US-time zone alignment for escalation coverage 

Technical Skills: 

• 5+ years experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, S3, VPCs, WAFs, MSK, etc.)  

• 5+ years experience with GitLab (pipelines, runners, merge requests, repo management)  

• 5+ years experience with Terraform (state mgmt, modules, property config, troubleshooting)  

• Strong English communication and consulting skills - Proven ability to lead teams and provide technical oversight in production-grade environments  

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production workloads in AWS  

• Willingness to work in US timezone and participate in on-call rotation
