Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct an independent third-party assessment of current claims data conversion processes, including governance, timelines, and quality controls.
• Evaluate how effectively business rules, pricing agreements, and adjudication logic are being preserved in the new system.
• Provide advisory guidance on technical environments (Java/Oracle, ETL, Kubernetes) to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
• Review prior migration practices and recommend process improvements to streamline conversion efforts.
• Partner with leadership and technical teams to build confidence in the program’s direction, ensuring accountability and alignment.
• Develop clear documentation and presentations summarizing current-state findings, highlighting risks and successes, and outlining actionable improvement strategies.
• Act as a bridge between business leadership, technical practitioners, and delivery teams, ensuring claims accuracy and data integrity remain central.

Must Have:

• Deep healthcare insurance and claims background (health, dental, para-practitioner adjudication).
• Previous experience successfully advising on large-scale data conversion or migration projects within healthcare insurance environments.
• Proven success in evaluating and improving conversion programs for pace, governance, and quality.
• Familiarity with technical environments (Java/Oracle, ETL processes, Kubernetes, clustered data systems) with the ability to assess and advise — not hands-on coding.
• Experience in handling data migration challenges, including data quality issues, reconciliation gaps, and rules preservation.
• Strong background in preparing process improvement documentation, governance reviews, and executive-ready reports.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex conversion findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both leadership and technical teams.
