Collabera is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer with experience in Water Treatment facilities and distribution systems, with strong skills in hydraulics, modeling (InfoWater/EPANET), and capital project management. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Day To DaY-

• Lead planning, design, construction, and maintenance of water distribution infrastructure
• Manage capital projects including planning, bidding, contractor management, and change orders
• Perform subdivision/development design reviews for compliance with District standards
• Conduct hydraulic modeling (InfoWater, EPANET) for system performance evaluations
• Oversee design and construction of tanks, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, internal staff, and regulators
• Provide guidance on project management, scheduling, and cost controls
• Maintain project records and technical reports
• Represent LTWD with developers, contractors, and community stakeholders

Must Haves:

• 5–10 years of municipal civil engineering experience with a focus on water infrastructure and water systems design
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline
• Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license (required for Levels III–V)
• Hands-on project management experience (capital projects, contractors, bidding, change orders)
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling (InfoWater, EPANET)

Plusses:

• Familiarity with EPA standards, environmental compliance, and Colorado water law
• Experience overseeing capital projects such as tanks, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Prior municipal water district or utility experience
