About the Role
Production Services is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the technology platform. The Production Services member will be involved in Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate Support, Change/Configuration Management, and more. This role involves identifying production failure scenarios, creating incident tickets, communicating effectively with development and internal business operations teams, and maintaining metrics for analysis and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify possible production failure scenarios and create incident tickets
- Communicate effectively with development and internal business operations teams
- Maintain metrics for analysis and improvement in all areas of Production Services
- Enhance administrative, operational, and technical policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot, analyze, research, and resolve complex issues
- Consult with end users to determine optimal configuration of equipment and applications
- Provide coaching and mentoring for other employees
- Provide leadership and strategic/tactical direction on information technology and client/business area issues
- Serve as an escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for problem resolution
- Manage a function related to technology products and service standards
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in application support
- Monitoring tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Glassbox
- Experience with Java and Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and commands
- Experience with Oracle, PLSQL
- Familiarity with Remedy
- Experience with Python and Ansible
- Ability to analyze Java heap and thread dumps
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $35 – $38 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
