Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Hybrid Onsite – Mon–Thurs)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hour

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support high-impact projects within a large corporate environment. The ideal candidate will design and develop interactive dashboards, create robust data models, and optimize performance while ensuring data integrity, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns.

• Integrate data from SQL Server, Dataverse, SharePoint, and other sources.

• Manage ETL processes using Power Query.

• Optimize query performance and data models.

• Implement security (RLS, data access governance) and workspace management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, provide training, and support end-users.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years in Power BI development (dashboards, reports, data modeling).

• Strong expertise in DAX and data architecture/design.

• Hands-on experience with ETL, Power Query, and performance tuning.

• Knowledge of governance, security, and workspace management.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SQL and API integration.

• Data warehousing concepts.

• Azure DevOps/Jira experience.

• Power Platform CoE exposure.

• Familiarity with Power Automate and UI/UX best practices.
