Title - Network Engineer

Location - Abilene, TX- 79601 

Duration - 12 months

Pay rate - $50-57/hr

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
• Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

Skils:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor.
• This is a 24/7/365 position on-site in Abilene, Texas, and includes day/night shift, weekend and holiday work with occasional travel based on business requirements.
• Be able to work on a shift schedule that rotates ( 8 to 12-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays.
• Data center networking knowledge.
• Experience in Data Center Infrastructure projects.
• 5 year+ experience in Structured Cabling Copper/Fiber and testing of cables.
